d) A. Schönberg – Erwartung – the first 3 sections (fragments to be indicated by the Jury)
The Second Stage: (with piano)
a) G. Rossini – The Barber of Seville (Rosina’s aria)
b) R. Leoncavallo – Pagliacci – The Prologue
c) G. Verdi – A Masked Ball, the final scene, soloists + choir
d) a fragment from a Romanian opera repertoire sent 10 days before the start of the competition
Choir rehearsal: (with piano)
a) G. Verdi – The chorus „Fuoco di gioia” from the Othello opera, the 1st Act
b) G. Enescu – Oedipus – the Coronation scene, the 2nd Act (the score is sent on request)
June 01, 2024 – rehearsal with orchestra, chorus and soloists on stage
a) G. Puccini – La Bohème, duet, the 1st Act
b) R. Wagner – Lohengrin, prelude, the 1st Act
